A "clinic" is an event typically held over a weekend, or at most over four days. Clinics are given by expert Open handlers (often hosted at someone else's farm), and participants usually work with their dogs in either two short sessions or one long session each day. A clinic can be a great experience for novices: not only will you receive an expert's take on problems that you might be having with your own dog's training and handling, you'll also have an opportunity to learn from the problems that others are having with their own dogs. Even if you decide not to attend a clinic as a participant, there's much to learn from spectating. If you'd like your clinic to be featured on this page, please email me.
