Crook making is an art. I list some basic working crooks below that you can order from Border Collies in Action, but if you have the interest and the funds, you can purchase fancy (even custom-made) crooks from all over the world. For a start, Francis Raley's Dog House offers imported hand-made crooks for sale. (Bear in mind, however, that choosing a crook is a very personal thing: it's much better to feel a crook for yourself than to order one over the Internet based on a picture and a written description.)
