Do You Take Young Dogs in for Training? Not normally. If I've been working with a dog and handler for lessons, then I might take that dog in for boarding AND training for periods up to a month or so.
Comments: I guess the only other point that should be made is how long I've been training dogs. I started training scent hounds (Beagles and Coonhounds) and the pointer/setter hunting breeds (German Shorthaired Pointers and English Setters) in 1960. Back then, I trained strictly for hunting. I started training Border Collies for stock work in 1985. Also, the easiest way to get in touch with me is via email. I am so rarely near a phone that it's hard to reach me that way, and harder still to make an appointment that way.
