Comments: My main focus after 20+ years with working dogs is to
improve a handler's ability to understand the stock being worked. I spent
seven summers working large flocks (1200-1500) of sheep doing brush control
for forestry in re-planted areas in the mountains of British Columbia,
so I am more interested in a person's stock sense than their ability as
a trainer. The folks I now work with are those who have a commitment to
becoming better stockpersons--their breed of dog is not as important as
their desire to become good stock handlers.

Comments: I work in various size fields or arena's depending on
the dog and the handler. Also depends on their ability. As far as flock
size and type. I have accessibility to as many sheep as I need and I sheep
that are more or less broke depending again on the handler and dog. Cheviots,
Barbs, Goats, etc.
