Haven't posted for awhile, but there's nothing new with that-I have a pre-New Year's resolution to do better. If the weather cooperates (and it hasn't so far), Phyl and I are off to a weekend trial at Jeff Hoffman's place in Virginia. I've been working hard on her pace on the drive; it's suddenly occurred to me that she's pushing too hard, and that I've been coasting on her rock-solid stop instead of making her handle the sheep more gently. It's been going pretty well in practice, but I haven't had enough time to work on it as thoroughly as I want. My goal for the trial is for Phyl to get the sheep around the course in a nice, relaxed manner and not worry much about the panels. I'll report in at the end of the weekend!
